Musical Notes MUSIC MINISTRY
Methodists love music and we are no exception. Our music director and organist is Mr. Tom Giovanetti. He directs the Chancel Choir which sings at the 10:00 AM worship service with traditional hymns. Rehearsals are held following the 10:00 AM service at approximately 11:15 AM. See Tom Giovanetti if you are interested in joining.
We have other singing groups under the direction of Mr. Geoff Simpson. He directs the men's a capella group called The Messengers. They rehearse on Saturday mornings at 9 AM. The Messengers also take their show on the road and perform around the area.
Geoff also directs the Gospel Gang who rehearse on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM and perform around the community to raise money for different charities.
The next event The Messengers and the Gospel Gang will be performing is the Gospel Extravaganza on Sunday, February 26, 4 PM, at the Monument Mountain High School in Great Barrington, MA.
